I love working with “emotional bloodhounds.” By that I mean highly perceptive, intuitive and empathetic people. To save a little time for you (or the bloodhound you are raising) - the real work typically has much less to do with changing yourself or anybody else, but with using your strengths to get better at being overwhelmed.

Rachel McCarron, LCSW

Rachel McCarron is a licensed clinical social worker. She is trained in EMDR, CBT and other traditional psychotherapy techniques. Rachel was a school counselor for many years, and that perspective is helpful in numerous scenarios.

I do best with the quirky crowd. My clients are typically neurodivergent and extremely bright. Typically they forget their water bottles in my office every week (but so do I). Usually we are working on emotional/social goals (like not losing it on family and friends) as well as practical goals (organization, time management), etc.
